Inge Padkaer Nielsen
Head of Production
Notas capability of producing Braille music dates back to 1920 and we have over the years built up considerable expertise in this particular area.
The translation into Braille is done by highly educated musicians and the proof reading is carried out by a Braille music specialist. This combination brings to the Braille production process a high level of precision and quality.
Nota produces Braille music according to the international standards agreed on in ”New International Manual of Braille Music Notation” by The Braille Music Subcommittee.
Nota finds it of major importance that the knowledge of Braille music is kept alive and supported by the possibility of having new notes produced.
